If you are in Downtown Fullerton and you don't want to walk too far, there are some great places in a half mile radius that offer good deals on taco Tuesday.
On Harbor Boulevard you can experiment with Reyes Tacos, Revolucion, Matador Cantina, or Wahoo's Fish Tacos. All four have a decent taco. For a slightly more authentic feel go to Reyes Tacos, for more of a club setting with drinks and other types of food you can try out Revolucion or Matador, and for a unique fresh fish taco Wahoo's is most definitely the place to go.
I recommend the bonzai burrito at Wahoo's. You can add ayour favorite meat/seafood to a special blend of broccol, cucumbers, and mushrooms that will get your taste buds going. Try the cilantro green sauce for a dollar or two more.
Some of the music venues like "The Continental Room" or "Slidebar" may also have a taco bar, or cheap street tacos that can serve as a cheap midnight snack.
But if you want to get the more authentic Mexican stuff, the stuff that everybody raves about you are going to have to venture to the other side of the train tracks.
